Discovery Pass

Save time at the gate. A Discovery Pass covers admission to more than 80 national parks and historic sites for 12 months. It’s a yearly pass instead of a day pass.

Also available at participating locations and MEC stores

Health and safety measures that may affect your visit are in place due to COVID-19. Please use our website to plan ahead.

With increased volume to mail and package delivery services during this global pandemic, shipping timelines cannot be guaranteed. Parks Canada will temporarily accept printed email confirmations that show a valid entry pass or permit. The printed email confirmation can be used until one month from date of purchase or until you receive your pass in the mail.

For visitors who hold a Discovery Pass which was valid in March 2020, Parks Canada will automatically extend the end date of these Discovery Passes by 4 months. This covers the three-month suspension of visitor services, plus the gradual resumption of visitor services during the month of June. For example, a Discovery Pass that would have originally expired March 2021 will now expire July 2021.
