This trail links the Visitor Centre to the summit of Signal Hill at the Duke of York Battery near Cabot Tower. At the summit explore the "Lookout" where interpretive panels present a wealth of Signal Hill's military and communications history. Here, hikers can visit Cabot Tower, or link to the North Head or Ladies' Lookout trails.
Along the trail you will pass the Queen's Battery and barracks which were the keystone of St. John's harbour defenses during the 19th century.
