Spotlight on the fort! (guided tour)
Duration : 60 minutes
Capacity : minimum of 25 students per group
Dressed as soldiers and royal engineers, students are marching along this authentic 19th century detached fort with its impressive casemates, dark tunnels, and underground chambers.
Taking Refuge in the Fort
Duration : 60 minutes
Capacity: minimum of 25 students per group
The enemy is approaching and the students must fortify their city to protect it! Sandboxes, illustrations, models, all these means allow the guide to briefly explain the evolution of fortifications from the palisade to the fortified cities, through the castles. Afterwards, the students build their own fort with wooden blocks.
Sleuth!
Duration : 60 minutes
Capacity: maximum de 100 students
Students join teams of sleuths and go on a quest to discover all the parts of Fort Number One! With plans and drawings of the fort in hand, they will have to have a very good sense of observation and compete with the other spy teams for speed.

Parks Canada is pleased to offer free admission for youth at our parks and sites, however regular fees still apply for other experiences and services, such as school programs and guided tours.
