Klondike National Historic Sites

Our interpretive programs begin on May 19, 2024.

The season kicks off with our Doors Open Dawson event on Saturday May, 18th from 11 am - 3 pm!

Visit Parks Canada staff at the Dawson Visitor Information Centre (corner of Front and King) to learn more about and book programs.

Historic Town Walking Tour
Explore historic downtown, including buildings closed to the public with a costumed guide.
Tickets available at the Visitor Information Centre
Time: Daily at 9:45 am and 3:00 pm
Location: Meet at the Visitor Information Centre


Dredge No. 4 - Guided tour
Take a guided tour through the interior of Dredge No. 4 and discover the evolution of placer mining.
Inquire at the Visitor Information Centre
Time: Daily at 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm (1 hour)
Location: Dredge No. 4 National Historic Site in the Klondike goldfields (20 km SE of Dawson City)


S.S. Keno Tour
Climb aboard and explore this steam-powered stern wheeler, and learn how life here has always been connected to the Yukon River.
Tickets available at the Visitor Information Centre
Time: Daily at 1:00 pm

Palace Grand Theatre - Guided tour
Join a guide and explore the biggest little theatre in the north.
